General VMLAB screen shot.
VMLAB is not just another microcontrollers IDE.
It is much more than a traditional IDE, since it combines hardware
and software features, it could be called better a hw/sw
co-verification framework.Screen shot shows:
- Notebook editor, with some cod , and:
-Breakpoints buttons (Stop sign)
-Coverage histogram by line (yellow)
-Cross reference to the trace (Scope): button with a magenta cross
- Scope Window, showing:
-Combined trace, subroutine nesting and system priority display: magenta
stuff.
-Voltage display at some nodes: micro port PB0, and some analog signals
(low pass filter), showing the mixed mode analog-digital simulation
capability. In fact, the example shows a DSP algorithm.
- Cross reference line (white line) to the code (above mentioned).
- Watch Window, showing some variable display in
value and analog bar form.
- Some other windows, minimized or
partially hidden (project file), status bar, etc.
Release 3.0 available. It supports also Atmel AVR micros!
